These terms govern your enrolment with English Box S.A., a Swiss société anonyme with its registered office at Rue du Rhône 14, 1204 Geneva. By confirming your enrolment in a programme, or by paying the first instalment of tuition, you agree to be bound by them.
01The agreement
Your written enrolment confirmation, the programme outline you receive with it, and these terms together constitute the agreement between you and us. In the case of any inconsistency, the enrolment confirmation prevails.
02Tuition and payment
Tuition is quoted per programme and is payable in advance, either in full or in quarterly instalments as agreed in your enrolment confirmation. Receipts are issued on request via the receipt page on our website.
Tuition does not include travel, accommodation, or materials beyond those expressly listed in the programme outline.
03Scheduling and attendance
Sessions are scheduled by mutual agreement between you and your faculty member. We ask for forty-eight hours’ notice to reschedule; sessions cancelled with less notice are treated as delivered.
04Withdrawal and refunds
You may withdraw from a programme within fourteen days of confirming enrolment for a full refund of any tuition paid, provided no sessions have yet been delivered. After the first session, refunds are pro-rated against undelivered sessions, less an administrative fee equal to ten percent of the remaining balance.
05Our obligations
We will deliver the programme described in your enrolment confirmation with reasonable skill and care, using faculty members qualified for the level and objectives agreed. We do not guarantee any specific outcome (such as a particular examination result or promotion), as outcomes depend on factors outside our control.
06Conduct
We expect courtesy, punctuality, and good-faith engagement from students and faculty alike. We reserve the right to terminate an enrolment for conduct that is abusive, discriminatory, or which materially undermines the work of other students, with a pro-rata refund of undelivered tuition.
07Liability
Our liability under this agreement, save for liability that cannot be limited under Swiss law, is capped at the tuition paid by you in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
08Governing law
This agreement is governed by Swiss law. The competent courts of Geneva have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection forum available to you in your country of residence.
